Re-Imagining the Egg
a workshop facilitated by
Keith Silvester
Focus of presentation
Assagioli’s ‘egg diagram’ is the defining model of psychosynthesis. Its power lies in its simplicity and elegance and in the general applicability to all human beings irrespective of culture or time. It is fundamentally a model of consciousness rather than identity or character. However, in the way it is presented it is quite static and does not describe or account for the process of change and personal development.
In this workshop, we will examine the ways we understand the egg diagram, and look at the possibilities of using it as a dynamic model, with some additional formulations which present the egg in alternative ways.
